Last year, I started to lose my way a little. I started questioning what I really wanted to do with my life and wondering why I
wasn’t just doing it. I grew up as a happy, healthy kid, surrounded by a strong, loving family, and of course, lots of great Italian food. I never really thought much about what I was eating, because we always ate so healthy and were always so physically active. But, come 12 months ago, I found myself working in an industry obsessed with body image, which made me lose all confidence in my own. I had a good hard look at myself, trying to work out where my real passions lay, and came up with four things; travel, cooking, writing, and photography. I contemplated a career change into the travel industry and started making my own plans to see the world, but that was going to take time. What I could do straight away was to start on the other three things, through my food blog, Multicultural Melbourne (www.multiculturalmelbourne.com). It became my creative outlet, bringing me back to my roots and the real, good food I enjoyed making with my family as I grew up. It’s been an awesome ride, and I’ve loved writing my blog, but it wasn’t enough. I’ve been a creative soul, spending my time writing, drawing, collecting, photographing, reading and imagining, and I always had a dream of writing and publishing my own book. And so, I did.

PRICING:

For single book orders: $57.00 (plus $7.50 for postage within Australia)

For multiple book orders: please email me for these, as the postage charged by the publishing company will be lower the more books you order.

For international shipping, again please email me.

Unfortunately, self-publishing isn’t a super cheap venture – I’m honestly not doing this to make a quick buck, but due to printing and postage costs, this is the best price I can offer :)

TO ORDER A BOOK:

Please email your order to jess.multiculturalmelbourne@gmail.com and specify whether you would prefer to make payment by direct debit or PayPal, and also please advise your shopping address.

PAYMENT:

Once your order is placed, you’ll be emailed either a PayPal invoice, or direct debit details. Your order will be placed as soon as payment is received, and current shipping time is approximately 3 weeks.
